Tried to send a private message to MikeO and even though I was informed that it had been sent (twice), nothing shows up in my sent folder (only in my saved folder?!?). Anyway, apologies if you are receiving this for the third time Mike, and within the public arena, but it's not exactly private anyway. Just a specific question to you Smile ..................

Hi there Mike,

I hope you don't mind me sending you a private message, but the question I have is very specifically to your good self. I am thinking of ordering the Utopia backrest from The U.S. but it's already a very pricey piece of equipment at $189 and an additional $50 shipping to Austria. So it seems to have gone up quite a bit since you ordered yours! Now on the forum you mentioned additional costs for import duties and VAT. So, my question is : Did you have to pay these extra fees when the package was delivered to you in Europe or were all fees paid at the time of ordering?

Thanks for your time Mike ..........

Until Mike opens your PM it will stay in your 'Sent' folder. It's a function of the PM system.

Apologies, Steve.
I don't always notice the PM sign flashing - I have now! Embarassed

Thanks, Doug, for sorting it.

I have replied at last, having posted the cost in the thread. Embarassed
