| I just sold the 400 Burgman. Couldn't jump back and forth like I thought. Now to start the upgrades on the SWing: Corbin seat Krya.... something chrome grips I already have a tall Givi screen, but am going to the adjustable - not scared HyperPro's change out for the softer tires - don't care about mileage (somewhat) large cheese pizza with pepperoni and banana peppers |

Any thought on smoothing out the Swing's vibration and belt slap on acceleration? There are several remedies for that. |

| for sure. I will go back and read past threads. A large part is getting a good mechanic to do them. I could go to Honda I guess.....I am beginning to get used to the vibration, but on a long haul. I plan to run the Blue Ridge Pkwy next month |

The Honda techs often know little to nothing about the Swing, especially the transmission and clutch. If they haven't worked on a Ruckus, Metropolitan, etc then the CVT is all new to them. You may be better off looking for an independent scooter shop. They will be cheaper and know what they're doing.
Between putting in sliders in the variator and/or installing HyperPro progressive springs, none of it is a big deal for any DIY'er with proper tools, a service manual, and common sense. |

| My only wish for the 'Wing' is to live long enough to enjoy it. |

| Mine came with all the trimmings apart from the Airflow screen. Previous owner (Marco on this forum) said it handled like no other Silverwing he had had. In fact he has gone and bought another Silverwing so probably has to do all the upgrades again!+
Apparently, the J Costa variator in the best way to eliminate the vibration problems.

+1 I still had plenty of tread left on my Hoops, and the shop totally understood why I didn't want the old ones to take home and leave in my garage. The guy said: "Once you ride these [Pirellis] you'll never want to go back". As many have said here--if one gets even half the tread life out of softer tires, they're still worth it. Then there's always Metzlers that strike a good balance between stickiness and tread life. |
