| I bought a used handle bar (mine is bended) with original Honda heated Grips.
Can someone tell me where are the connectors for the Heaters? In best cases with pictures? |

| Could it be that the Grip Heater wires were cut off when the bars were removed from the original scooter? Hopefully not though.
Grip Heaters are an add-on accessory, and will require an additional wiring circuit (with a fuse) to connect the Heaters to the scoot power supply. |

| Honda heated grips have male and female bullet connectors for each grip connected to a harness which includes the heat controller, this in turn is linked to the brake light circuit for +ve and to the park brake cicuit for -ve. At least that's what the instructions said when I fitted mine a few weeks ago. |

| Sorry, but what exactly do you mean with +ve and -ve? Means ve = voltage? My handlebar/heat grips are complet without cutted wires! The Controller and the heat grips are connected with bullet connectors. For ground connection a have a (in german we call it) cableshoe like this: I think i can attach this somewhere to the frame... For the positive i have "t-piece" with male and female cableshoes like this: . One of them is straight and one of them have 90° and rubber. I think this "T-piece" will fit between the cable and the brake light switch. Is this correct? But for the moment i have another problem. I don't touched the wiring for the moment and only replaced the handlebar and now i have a short circuit somewhere between the limit switch and the engine start switch... I think i have to remove a lot of tupperware tomorrow... PS: Where do i install the controller? |

| +ve is short for positive.
-ve is short for negative.
The blue connector you show is called a 'spade' connector in the UK ('male' in this case as it slips inside the other half, the 'female'). _________________ Mike - Riding on the right - riding for pleasure!

| The official wiring had two small sub-harnesseswhich had small spade connectors to fit onto the appropriate place on the original wiring and to connect to the main grip harness:- no ring connector on mine, it earthed (or gounded ) thro' the parking brake connection. |

| OK and thanks... I think my technical english is ok, but i'm a mechanic and not electrician The spade connector looks like riginal Honda and the ring connector don't looks like Honda. Then i think i will connect the negative/ground somewhere to the frame... Is there somewhere a special place to connect the +ve with the brake light circuit? Or is it ok if i put the Heatgrips between the spade connectors of the brake light switch? And how or where do i attach the controller? Have someone pictures of the attachment of the controller? |
