| drooped my scoot in the mud.does anyone know where i can purchase a muffler heat shield. Don't really want to pay inflated dealer price for a piece of chromed plastic. Good condition used would also work. |

| Ebay would be the obvious first choice. Also, any Canadian online parts supplier should be able to get the part in for much less than dealer MSRP. |

| US List price... $106.45. This should give you a starting point to see if you are getting a good deal or not. Good Luck! |

There is a guy parting out a Silverwing or 2 on Ebay right now, as well. |

| I'd just rip the whole damn exhaust system off and replace it with this:

If you put that system on your scoot, it's unlikely that you'd be able to use that nice useful pair of saddlebags you have on your photo above my post. |

Funny you should say that. I was actually contemplating that just yesterday.
I had inquired to LeoVince USA about fitment for the Swing. They immediately got back to me with their model # and a Canadian retailer who gave me a good price.
On looking at their picture of the LeoVince installed on a Swing, I realized the upswept muffler would interfere with my right saddlebag. In choosing between a LeoVince exhaust and the GIVI saddlebags, the usefulness of the saddlebags far outweighs any exhaust benefits for me.
If any Canadians are looking for a LeoVince Swing exhaust, let me know. I've got a great supplier with a good price. |

| Thanks Dan. Good to know. I'll sleep on that one over the coming winter. My only other concern is the sound itself.
I had a Yosh exhaust on an SH150i. I loved the bark, but at sustained constant speeds of 40+ mph the droning was really irritating. Does the LV drone at higher steady rpm? |

| I think the irritation factor is very personal. I don't find it irritating @ all. As I recall it is a slightly lower note than a stock exhaust. Of course I don't recall the last time I only went 40 mph. _________________ I ride on two wheels cause I feel very unsafe on one wheel.Dan in Miami. The king of custom!
