I'm off to a lake party where we'll get to watch the boat parade at dusk and then fireworks over the lake ... always a great treat!!!

Remembering those who fought and died to ensure we HAVE this opportunity.

Celebrate the fourth safely. Have fun!!! Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven

Daryl... I think it is appropriate to honor our fallen heroes anytime of the year... and we should.

Everyone on this side of the pond... have a great Fourth of July. Independence Day. Be grateful for our freedoms.

Have a great day chaps and chapettes!!!

We had a character years back based at the gunnery school at Lulworth. He was 7th Cav, Lt Col,I believe, (could well be wrong on which Cav unit,) every 4th July he would throw a massive BBQ, he would wear a classic cavalry officers uniform circa Custers era with wide brimmed hat and gold trim. He would also wear a pearl handled six gun. Like I said a real character. Best barbie I have ever attended, Ashamed to say I have forgotten his name. Damn getting older.

Still, have fun. band

This is the coolest gift one could ever receive on independence day. Almost made me cry with her.

Remember that freedom is not free. People that you do not know have fought and many have died so that you can have your freedoms.

Um, actually quite a few Americans died during the Revolutionary War so yeah, we CAN remember those who died to ensure we can celebrate Independence Day - popularly referred to as "the 4th of July".
