Hello All
Been lurking here and asking some questions. Just sold my BMW two weeks ago and now she is going to Hong Kong. Been riding streets bikes for 22 yrs. and have about 160K miles on my butt. A disability made me give up my m/c. So to continue riding I need a scooter (no clutch) and lighter. I may buy a friends SW scooter. I'm impressed by this site. How to's with pics is so useful. Just wanted say Hi formally. I will let you know if I buy the SW. Smile

Hi Keith. This is definitely the best site to browse for 'Wing' related info.

If you do go down the Sliver Wing route you wont regret it. A solid dependable ride with loads of potential for just about anything.

Welcome Keith... you will have to forgive Dennis and his Kowabunga... he does get a little excited when he gets to reminisce with some of his surfing buddies. Then is not a lot of surfing in Glenpool. But he does make some cool stuff for the Silverwings. And he know a little bit about the mechanics of what makes them run.
You can't go wrong with a Swing. Hope you teach us all some new stuff if and when you make that decision.
Again, I say welcome.

Thanks Gary, I sure had a GREAT time in the sixties out in SoCal. Now the only time the surf is UP here in Glenpool, is when it rains a bunch.

Hello Keith!

SoCal, surfing = West Coast Vans. cheers

I tried and failed to customize a van - Morris J4 - in the early 70's but could never have matched the Dream Machines I saw in Hot Rod magazine at the time.
Happy Days.

Nothing formal and very little normal about this place. Just a bunch of good people who share the love and freedom of riding. Now the only time Dennis yells kowabunga is when somebody leaves the gate open. Even if you don't get the SW, you're still welcome to share your knowledge with us. motorcycle
