Hello everyone. My name is Bill and my wife is Jackie. We just bought a 2009 Silver Wing a couple of weeks ago and we are still getting use to the trike kit. I have been sitting behind Jackie and get alot of strange looks. I took the Givi trunk off of my Kymco scooter and now have it on the SW., so there's very little chance of me falling off. The Kymco is on craiglist, and looking for a new home. We both have been riding for many years with many different motorcycles to our names. I have been looking at the other posts of Silverwings with the minitrike kits installed, and I still don't know if the Honda dealer put it on right. We are now going to be a one scooter family, even if I have to be a passenger. Thanks for having us. Bill.....

Welcome Jackie and Bill. We have several trike owners on this forum. Let us know which kit you have and maybe they can let you know how theirs works. People on this forum seem to be ready to help any way they can. Also Joncallahan posts things from a trike forum. Maybe you can check that out.

Welcome Bill and Jackie... I am also a Silverwing trike owner. I have the Trinity UltraTrike kit. Have had it for about three months now and love the new experience. I have been riding Silverwings for about 4 years now and can't imagine riding anything else.
I want to teach my wife to drive so I can relax and enjoy just looking at the scenery like she gets to do now. She says she is not going to do that, but I am working on her.
Look forward to hearing of your experiences here on the most friendly forum on the internet. Now that you have introduced yourselves, jump in with questions and comments. Look around and get acquainted. You are gonna like it here.

Thanks to everyone for your warm welcome messages!
We have an 8" tow pac mini trike kit that we purchased on the 09 Silver Wing and it now has 375 miles on it.
We took the advice of some of the members and got rid of the belt squeal by holding the front brake lever and getting the throttle to 4000 rpm's for 5 seconds. So we can speak from experience this does work. I waited till the SW was 1st at the 300 mile break in period. So already this website has taught us something.. Thanks again......
