One of my good friends traded in his Valkyrie for a Goldwing a couple of days ago and it sure is pretty. I got on in and was able to get it off the side stand very easily. His Valkyrie was way too top heavy for me to do that before. While I was sitting on it, I noticed that the left hand brake sure was soft. Since it was a new bike, I asked him if he was going to get that looked at. Then he explained to me that the "left hand brake" is the clutch. Go figure. It has sure been a long time since I had to shift a bike.

I rotate with my ninja bike every other day so I won't forget how to use the clutch Smile

To be honest, I don't mind the automatic, in fact I like it.
The one thing I don't like is the combined brake on the left hand.
I much preferred the rear brake on right foot like the Elite CH150D had.
Of course, without a foot brake there is more floorboard room but after decades of riding, its hard for me to get the brake on the left where as I had not trouble at all with the Elite.
