| I just received this today:

It is GIGANTIC. I will take pics when I mount it this weekend.
Also, what is the best way to wire the built in brake light? |

| DugleBogey, You will enjoy the Bestem. I have had one on my Swing for the past couple of years. I don't ride with it on all of the time. I made a plate that mounts on to the Benstem mount and made a back rest for it with a high mount stop light. I really like it and use it most of the time. I use the Bestem when I go on trips like to the Black Hills of South Dakota etc. I you look at my pictures in the Album section I think you will see the back rest. Old Dave |

| Can someone, perhaps DennisB, recommend a disconnect so I can use his wiring harness and still remove the trunk when I want to ride without it? |

| Hi Guy's, I helped Gary (opalsboy) install the light kit for his GIVI top case. It went very easy and came with a disconnect connector for installation in the side of his case and the drill bit to drill the hole. Did your Bestem light kit have a disconnect connector? How many wires do you have coming from the top box?

Make sure you put fuses on the live wires for example Blade Fuseholder on same page._________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS Clearview w/vent, Givi E96/TB19/E52 with Admore Lighting, Alaskan Leather, Wrist Rests, 3M Solas tape, K&N air, Hyperpro spring, Grip Puppies, Airhawk, Utopia backrest, Stebel, Apexcone HIDs, StingerZ LEDs (w/Backoff WigWag), Knight Rider Sequential LED, NGK Iridium, Power Commander III, Manic Salamander, Saeng mirrors, Garmin Zumo 660, Dark-Side Sumitomo Tire |

| If your Bestem light kit did not come with a dis-connect, you will need to install a small waterproof GLAND in the side of your box's bottom half so wires can exit. You can use a trailer pin type connector as a dis-connect. |

| Let me clear up a statement DennisB made about "HELPING Gary" with my Addmore light kit. He did not help me... he did it. I did provide the drill to drill the hole. So, I guess I did help him. The man is a genius. Just not very pretty. I am going to his place soon to "Help" him some more. |

| Here's a neat little connector that would work.

OR

OR (the one I like) a 5 wire if you have turn signals on your top box.

| The bestem is installed. It has 2 wires so just for brakes. There is a hole pre-fitted for the wires. There are some kind of connectors on the wires but I don't like how they work so I think I will install my own disconnect where I want it.
Thanks for the help! |

| So all you need is a Perfect Connector with a breakout Ground and Brake light wire. That would be only $24.00 with free shipping when you get ready or if you need it |
