| Has anyone here ever tried to upgrade their brakes to ABS after owning it? If so, can you tell me about your experience?

It would be cost prohibitive to upgrade to ABS._________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS Clearview w/vent, Givi E96/TB19/E52 with Admore Lighting, Alaskan Leather, Wrist Rests, 3M Solas tape, K&N air, Hyperpro spring, Grip Puppies, Airhawk, Utopia backrest, Stebel, Apexcone HIDs, StingerZ LEDs (w/Backoff WigWag), Knight Rider Sequential LED, NGK Iridium, Power Commander III, Manic Salamander, Saeng mirrors, Garmin Zumo 660, Dark-Side Sumitomo Tire |

| Its not just sensors and basic brake parts. Its also the computer brains behind it. There also may be certain parts that are completely different because their casting includes ABS fastening points.
It would likely be cheaper to purchase a used Silverwing, switch over any upgrades you have on the current one, and sell it.
ABS is a great feature, but there is a reason that there was a couple grand difference between the ABS and non ABS models. And that's just a factory cost difference, not parts at retail prices.
Also, if you were in the market for a used scooter with ABS, how comfortable would you feel if the seller said, "No, it didn't come with ABS. I added it aftermarket." Would you have the same comfort level with the bike without knowing how dilligent he was in doing everything that Honda did from the factory?
That's exactly how you're buyer is gonna feel if you try to sell an aftermarket ABS bike. You'll never get your money out of the upgrade, ever.
