PostSubject: Givi AF214 - Proper Height Adjustment   Fri Feb 18, 2011 8:05 am

Hello all,

I finally got around to installing the Givi AF214.

I was curious on if there is a rule to how adjust the height?

I read on a site, measure from the scooter to 50ft. Adust the height of the screen so you can barely look over the top.

Any thoughts?

Because of all our differing ergonomics, trial and error may be the order of the day.

For myself I struggled to obtain an optimum height for average riding speeds.

However after moving the rider seat back to it's furthest back setting and the screen to a point where, (for me), has the 'Airflow' logo appearing a centimeter below the line of the lower shield I appear to have MY optimum setting.

Reading previous threads on the subject, everybody seems to have their own criteria. Good luck finding yours.
