Hey Bob,

How many showed up last year? It seems there are alot of people that go there from the midwest and even Dikkidi and GezzerBob rode there from far away. Dick from the Vancover area and Bob from N.C. I think. I sure would like to get there one day. It would be nice to ride around my old stopping grounds of Illinois. Take some good pics this year to post here.

The first year I believe it was 38 scooters and 3 motorcycles. Last year was about 44 scooters and one motorcycle. It might of been a couple more each year that didn't pre-register. A good 90% of the people attending have never met each other in person before the rally. We broke up into groups of 6-8 bikes for the rides. We tried to keep riders with similar rding styles together, as well as the 250cc's in the same group.

It all started when Kev"IronRanger" invited Bill"Wild Bill Perdue"up to his neck of the woods for a visit. The invitation was posted on "maxi-scoots" and a lot of people asked if they could come up too. Kev did not have room at his place for more than a couple of people so a nearby town was chosen as the home base.

Why don't you stop by? The first year we had an 18 or 19 year old who goes by the name of "SailorBay" I think, who rode his black 02 Silverwing solo across the country from California to the rally.

Bob,

I know "SailorBay" since he lives out here. He started on a Reflex and then bought the SWing. He made a few group rides with us out here, the ones when Dave used to ride the Majesty. Bowen (SailorBay) is a nice guy and I'm sure will go very far in life. I would love to come out there. My wife and I have even thought of moving to Wisconsin some day, hopefully soon.
