The wife and her sisters are going for a girls weekend out. So in order to not miss out on the fun, I've planned my own fun weekend out. I am going to leave from Kingsport, TN on the Swing this Saturday aroun 12 noon to go to Beckley W.V. I am going to take the interstate (81) into Marion and then ride 16 all the way to Beckley. This is one road I have wanted to ride for a while and have not as of yet. I have heard a lot of good things about it. It is very curvy and not heavily traveled and has good pavement. I will actually be riding to a town past Beckly where they have some small cabins in a campground with hot showers on premises. A friend of mine was going to join but his girlfriend won over the trip. Anyone who would like to meetup and ride is welcome. You would need a sleeping bag or sheet/blanket for the bunks (they have mattresses) and whatever else you would want to take along with you for the ride.
