Saw clean white tennis shoe Goldwings and a few loud Harleys. No Scooters.
Seeing any group while riding is not very likely. I just got back from group meet in townsend TN. Even with 20 bikes having the same ride and same destination, the group split into 2 groups, some faster, some flower sniffing. Unless you stopped at the rally campground It would be highly unlikely to have seen anyone.
OK RIDE----But remember many TN roads have no shoulders. Not great if you have mech problem, etc. Little traffic----no sign of rally
I am not from south and never will get used to dirty bathrooms and no TP. To avoid that woods work for me.
If the bathroom facilities are dirty tell them , Most try to keep it clean.
Road surface was ok for about half of 116.For me in curves, could be easy to overcook as Silverwing hads lots of power....linked brakes, making trail braking a little difficult if not impossible----I like my control of rear....better with foot pedal.
These scooters will NEVER be able to do corners at speed. It is not in their nature. Besides I can no longer fit into my leathers with knee pucks. The combined braking does cause different feel when trail /drag braking. I suggest that you invest in a set of hyperpro fork springs and use their recommended oil (comes with the springs). you will be pleasantly surprised with the handling after.
Ride enjoyable remembering you are on scooter---- work on smooth and say within limits of scooter.....otherwise woods are waiting.
