PostSubject: almost done blingging and throttle work   Thu Jul 29, 2010 3:10 pm

Well today I bought my my sink parts :-) and put em on. Man what a pain in the ass to cut them tubes the armstrong way. I WISH I HAD A BAND SAW! Anyways they came out awesome they're like just under 3 inches long then once again christmas in july. UPS came with my flamed Kuryakyn's. So on they went with the throttle bosses with my signature tabs out installation But what a difference between the stock rubber and these grips, OH MY GOD, BUT I FELT SO MUCH THROTTLE PLAY now with the kuryakyn's over the stock grips!!!! So after installing the grips and the bosses I took out 100% of the throttle play , I bet I had to tuRn that adjuster out a good 1/4 inch MIN. to loose the throttle slop and now im good to go. So all in all its comming together. God that throttle slop was horrible literally ide say 1/2 inch???Between dead open and first touch of throttle Now its tight as a piano string and a touch of the throttle and im off. So, so far givi v 46 and mount bolt on back rest some chrome molding on rear body panels and tail more to come , tail pipe extentions and kuryakyn grips with the bosses and tues the 3rd my givi shields comming. Soon ill be where my 07 was :-) SO TRIGGERS LOOKIN PRETTY AWESOME ALREADY. No dout experiance pays off. God everything im doing is sutch a breez!!!!!

A happy uncle blinggy but missing my truck severly :-(
