| This is just a proposal.
I will like a source of usefull data , for the SW driver, who do the maintenance by himself.
Some forums give the technical data , just from Honda.
But , ... the vertical movement in inches of the pistons, is pretty useless to me. Can't change it and it is not a item to check.
But gap of sparkplugs, idle rpm's, voltage of the electric system (regulator by x rpm's) ........
That i can use. Because when when i measure a different value, i can estimate there is some thing wrong.
So my point is.......
Can we start a thread like that? Where every body here can say,,this item has to be that value (or range). |

| Hi eddy, Most of have and use Honda shop repair manuals. Here's one on Ebay. Just look around and you will find one for very little money. I got mine off ebay for $15.00 and it was in great condition. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-Service-Shop-Manual-Silverwing-FSC600-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem45f4378040QQitemZ300450021440QQptZApparelQ5fMerchandise |

| Hello Dale,
Thanks....
The MAINTENANCE SPECIFICATIONS are pretty close what i ( and others i think)wanted. A short list of only usefull data.
Maybe the torques figures of the main variator nuts ...?? The normal voltage( spread) of the el.system when engine makes X rpm's.
Eddy. |

| Variator nuts:
Drive ax : 10.5 kgm. Driven ax :5.5 kgm ------------------------------------ Voltage : When engine is running...
15.5 V maximum. But always more than battery voltage (not running).
