PostSubject: DennisB's GPS Mount instructions !!!!   Sat Jul 24, 2010 8:03 am

Hi,

I made this when I installed DennisB's GPS mount and just forgot that I did this. The installation is so simple that this isn't really needed, but just in case others would like to see the pictures.

Hi All,

Sorry to say, I do not supply the RAM 1" ball any longer with this mount but it is easy to get a hold of through GPScity.com for a good price and a low shipping price.

RAM ball P/N RAM-B-236U
http://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-0.38-16-male-thread-with-1-inch-ball.html

I do send along the stainless flat washer and 3/8-16 nut to install the RAM ball.

Thank You

leonardino,

Welcome to the forum, where in Germany are you located?

I like this solution. Creative and provides some ability to adjust the view.

Cool - I have lived in Wiesbaden and Nurnberg (Herzogenaurach) during my time as a Soldier.

I like your solution, does the GPS slide into the holder from the top? How is it secured?

I should add I have one of DennisB's mounts and really like it - for me it offers quite a bit of flexibility. Can mount GPS or camera or both using the right adapters.

Hi all,
Hi Dale,

oh Wiesbaden, 150 miles far from my city, very nice there, and "lecker Äppelwoi".
I had there for one year a girlfriend. But it was not so nice because we had only time at weekend for us. So the friendship gone.
That was befor near 20 years. I never visited Wiesbaden again.

Hi Dale,

yes the GPS slide from the top, it can`t slip away, cause it is very strong in the holder.
