Brakes - Mmmmmm.

Be tempted to buy a quality product from a reputable seller.

Fitted cheap pads once, changed them a fortnight later. Dangerous.

You need to ensure they meet the minimum requirement. At least HH sintered. (UK).

Save your hide and scooter, go with OEM pads , I have tried EBC and others and they NEVER work as well as OEM's.

as Waspie said "at least HH sintered"

The reason is in a panic situation,, you DO want to stop in the shortest distance.

I would just google "honda OEM motorcycle parts". then check who has the best prices. They aren't cheap but neither are quality aftermarket brakes.

MaxB (who gets a deal from local dealer on most stuff, but not all)

Most local stores will give a 10-15% break off of list prices. Ya gotta ask and have prices from online sites with part# .
Bike bandit does not use Honda OEM part #'s.

MaxB ( who tries to help local dealer if I can)

Ummm, You could go here: http://www.servicehonda.com/look-up-parts/03

You'll find that the brake pads are around $34.00. I've worked in the service department of a Honda/acura dealer and can tell you that I've encountered people who've decided to save some money on brake pads. Not nice people and they got to spend more in the long run.

I'd never consider scrimping on brake pads.
