PostSubject: Engine Noise   Thu Mar 18, 2010 9:59 pm

I was curious about engine noise. Now that I have over 10,000 miles on the Swing I have noticed a big difference in my engine noise volume. It has gotten twice as loud as what i considered normal. Since I don't really have anything to compare it to. It doesn't sound like it is straining or anything like that. I am going to tear the thing apart and see if something may have come loose. I am also getting a strong vibration through my feel when they are on the middle of the floor boards. Was wondering if anyone has experienced this and if they found a solution to it?

It may be that you can just now hear the engine ;-) We've got more than 20K on each of ours and they still are as smooth as they were when brand new. No odd vibes.

Did you change the rear tire??
If so at what mileage?

got the problem sorted out! Seems I ran into some bad fuel. I was forced to fill up at a Clark station last week. Filled her back up at Shell and the engine smoothed right back out to normal. My tires are new with only 150 miles on them but we isloted the problem to the engine itself. I was also informed to stay away from that station. Some fellow drives cars included have had some issues from that station. With their gas anyways. Seems there quality is never very consistent.
