| The only thing I don't like are higher rpm's and lower gas mileage. I put on 70 miles when the gas gauge just went to half a tank, is that normal?4500 rpm's at 40 mph seems high but I like the throaty sound, don't need exaust system now.Now I need a power commander to get my gas mileage back |

| tank, The same thing happened to me when I first installed it but I soon learned to control the throttle. Try practicing not giving so much throttle when taking off. When I installed mine I would take off the same way as when the bike was stock and you will really take off fast. Also, when you get going and then you go a constant speed limit the rpm's usally drop some. You might want to follow a car when taking off from stop lights to help you not take off so fast too. That is what I did to try to get used to not giving much throttle. The J. Costa really gets the SWing going fast from a start. Good luck and keep us informed. But it will take a couple of tanks of gas before you get used to it. But it is fun though...isn't it. _________________ Ride safe, JeffR 2007 Silver Wing (30,000 miles) 2005 Majesty 400 (sold 12,500 miles) 2004 Reflex (sold 3,500 miles) Givi Windshield, top case, vista cruise, power commander, dr pulley sliders, air hawk seat pad, (J. | Wing: Too funny! I does sound a bit ironic doesn't it, but since the worst fuel economy I have ever had with my Swing is between 46 and 47 mpg, I would have to say that for me it is well worth it and having the ability to go faster/quicker when you need (or want) to is worth a lot. |
