| Right now - I think it's still there - there's a sale on ebay for 5 of these in amber color (for sun block I guess) for about $30 with shipping. I guess someone could sell three or four to friends for a low price, and still have one or two to keep for free.
Let us know how you like it over time. And, what's a pinlock? _________________ Matthew - outside of Madrid, New Mexico, USA; 04 dark rasberry red, Nelson Rigg CL-900 saddlebags, Vista Cruise, K&N air filter, Mobil 1, NGK iridium plugs, back rest mod (leroybeal.net), rotated (up) handlebars, mirror extenders/risers, Laminar lip and ears, Givi Flow top case, grip puppies, darkside Sumitomo rear tire, insole pads in gloves, Allyn air seat

| Web Bike World has a good review of the Pinlock. Its basically a plastic shield that fits on the inside of your visor to aid in anti fogging. It works fairly well too. But some have said it can distort your vision and at night you can get stars and other distortions from oncoming headlights. Also drilling of your visor is required to install. I found that Fogtech...a liquid anti fog product works just as well with no distortions. Some helmets can now be purchased with the pins in place on the visor. |

| Thanks for the update and pinlock info. I think I'd stay with something simpler, if I ever decide I need anything at all. So far this issue has not been enough of a problem to warrant any specific attention. _________________ Matthew - outside of Madrid, New Mexico, USA; 04 dark rasberry red, Nelson Rigg CL-900 saddlebags, Vista Cruise, K&N air filter, Mobil 1, NGK iridium plugs, back rest mod (leroybeal.net), rotated (up) handlebars, mirror extenders/risers, Laminar lip and ears, Givi Flow top case, grip puppies, darkside Sumitomo rear tire, insole pads in gloves, Allyn air seat

I have a Shoei Multitech with the Pinlock lens. I have not had any problem with distortion or the stars from oncoming headlights. I have had the setup for about 2 1/2 years with no problem.
After fogging season is done ... I switch back to the original non-pin lock windshield.

I purchased a spare Shoei windshield with the pin lock holes for my Pinlock lens ... that way I can quickly switch back and forth. _________________ Bill - Georgetown TX 07 Silver Wing ABS
