PostSubject: March 27th BAMR Group ride   Sat Mar 06, 2010 8:37 am

Hi,

Well we finally had a group ride in our Bay Area Maxi Riders (BAMR) group ride. It was only about 100 miles, at the most, but was a very enjoyable ride. I will post some pics here. The ride was in the Livermore & Tracy, California area. Nice slower winding roads and the weather was great. We were going to ride up to Mount Hamiliton on Saturday, the day before this ride, but it was raining that day so we got 10 riders that could make the Sunday ride. We would have had about 15-20 riders on Saturday if the weather would have held out.

It was a great ride and we really have fun on these. We stopped for lunch after and it is nice to just talk and catch up on stuff. We also talked about the 1,000 mile Saddle Sore ride on April 24th and I think there will be at least 5 of us doing that.

If I'm not mistaken, today is the Sixth of March. Which Time Machine did you all get into to do the March 27th BAMR Group ride?

We all know what a SilverWing looks like, this is what I paint when I'm "working".

Jon,

You are right...it was Feb 27th !!! I put that date on purpose to see who would catch the mistake. So I guess you win the grand prize... which is the Silver Wing that is featured on the main page of the site. So you may want to work this out with MikeO on getting him to ship it to you.

I'd be happy to ship over an '06 Silverwing if I'd got one - mine's an '09!

That sure looks like a nice ride. Good friends and beautiful country. What else can you ask for? How about a great forum, thanks to JeffR. Thank you. Now, lets ride.
