| Hi everybody.
Been lurking for a few months - learning a lot and enjoying my new (to me) ride. I got a 2003 Swing last September with 3800 miles, GIVI 46 monokey box, GIVI shield and Kuryaken grips. I had not made my mind up about which kind of bike to buy (was still thinking about B400), but this became available for $3600 and it made the decision easy for me.
Before I bought the Swing, I had an opportunity to ride the following bikes: 2 different CCS bought from a local dealer (still in business!) 2007 B400 2008 B650 2008 Kymco Xciting 250 2007 Majesty and best of all a 1978 Yamaha Chappy! (Google that one!)
Since then I have put on about 3000 miles and done a few mods - buttrest/backrest, driving lights, put a fusebox for a power tap in the front glove box, J Costa, Knight Riderz led brake light and a cigarette lighter beside the battery. I also use an AirHawk pad, which I wouldn't want to ride without. Most things have been done for safety or comfort except for the J Costa - that was done for grins! Overall, the scoot feels a lot like riding my PWC except for the higher top speed.
It seems that, between here and the .org site, most questions have been asked and answered. When it comes to forums, I usually don't answer or add comments unless it is something I can add that hasn't been covered recently. And I will have questions of my own that I'm sure can be answered here.
Have fun!

| Just started working on the profile, so it shows up now.
Cornelius is about 20 miles north of Charlotte, NC USA. Its about 4 hours from the beach, 1 hour from the hills and 2 hours from the mountains (to us Easterners, at least). _________________ Philip 2003 Swing with GIVI and GIVI, Kuryaken, J Costa, Blinky LED taillight, Wallyworld el cheapo driving lights, AirHawk, Laminar Lip
