| I'm back,
I had a great few days. The scooter behaved impeccably and turned in 57 (imp or 4.54 Litres) mpg. I left home on Wednesday at 08:00 and arrived at my uncle's house at 11:50. I stopped for a 20 minute break at a burger van in Monkton on the A30 and another stop of ten minutes for fuel, so 189 miles in about 3.5 hours.
Coming home yesterday was about the same except nose to tail slow moving traffic over Bodmin Moor which took a while to filter through and then a closed road near Warminster which meant all traffic in both directions had to go through town instead of around the outside.
Al in all 600 miles door to door. |
