JeffR..........I have my pin on the town I live in but would like to move it closer to where I actually live. I've tried dragging it there, but that doesn't work. Can you tell me how to do that?scratch

Thanks

PS Never mind......got it.

Debbie,

I'm not sure how to do that. I have tried myself and can't figure it out or maybe it is just the way it is. I will keep trying though. Thanks.

JeffR.........I got it moved. I had to remove it from the map, then zoomed in to the area where I live and put the pin there.

Thanks

Diane,

Cool...and thanks for placing it. The map says there are 18 on there now but I don't really count that many. I'm still trying to figure this map out really.

Done. I put a marker on my roof. The satellite photo is a couple of years old because the '06 Honda Civic EX parked out front, alongside my now-sold '99 New Beetle diesel, met with an unfortunate demise at the hands of my daughter's report card. (I was distracted by the failing grades and rammed into some poor guy in a Toyota pickup. He was parked in the middle of the damned lane because HE was distracted by a call from the National Guard ordering him to Iraq. Two fools met.)

Note the trails in what used to be a lawn in the back yard. That's what border collies do.

The market is labeled "mbitsko." I keep forgetting which alias I use on this board.

There. Stuck my pin in too. It's out by a couple kilometers, but that's not bad ... shows pretty much where we live!

Well, I've added my pin and a picture.
It's a bit off target but in the right area.
The pic's of me and Ed, my partner (he's on the left), at the Bikers' Hotel in Oudenburg, West Flanders last Summer.

Any idea how to cancel the map account. That thing is so confusing. Its got a picture of someone I have no idea who it is on my account and I still can't find my place even though I put the Lat & Long in. What the heck, I don't want to keep my account there.

It took me a while and quite a few attempts to get it right ... it was not the most user friendly. As I recall it did a random picture for me too.
