I just installed 26 gram Malossi rollers and "yellow" clutch springs, but I don't think that's what solved the belt slap. I think the fact that I just took stuff apart and cleaned it up explains it. My wife and I ride 2005 SilverWings. Prior to the SWings we had 2003 Reflex(es, i,?).

We each have a short commmutes to work so most of our riding is long distance touring or long days out and back. There are plenty of great challenging roads within 400 miles of Huntsville so we stay busy.

The rear has only about 2000 miles and is almost to the wear markers, and starting to look flat across the tread. About 600 miles have been 2 up with my wife. This puts us over the rating on the sticker under the seat, but at least 100lbs under the rating stamped on the tires. The darkside tire raises the loading rating by another 100lbs or so.
