After fashioning a makeshift paint booth and a lazy-susan I set out to paint a couple. I used regular masking tape to cover the openings and do my stripes. The 97 cent stuff worked perfectly, so I'm glad I didn't get the $7 stuff instead. I tried the Krylon "fusion" paint made for plastic and liked it a lot. They were 2 blocks from their house and some kids had laid a limb in the road. It was a shady area and she didn't see it until almost on top of it. She braked hard then swerved to avoid it. I am a little disappointed with how the installation is going. First, the windscreen did not fit well over the 6 mounting holes. I had to spread the shield slightly to align the holes. Second, the left side of the screen extends approximatly 1/2 inch more forward than the right side. I tried for a few hours trying to align this, but nothing seems to work. See pictures.
